Trip Itinerary:

Day 1: Buenos Aires

Meeting upon arrival in Buenos Aires, a city of contrasts, unique style and diverse heritage that is reflected on every corner.  This cosmopolitan city has glamour and elegance of its European roots that are interwoven with the essence of Latin America.  Buenos Aires has so much culture to offer any traveler, amazing nightlife, tango in the streets, museums and galleries, historical monuments, gourmet food and world class wine just to name a few.  Transfer to hotel, remainder of day at leisure.   (If you arrive early optional tours are available)

Day 2: Buenos Aires

Today enjoy a private guided tour of Buenos Aires. Explore the cities characteristics, history, architecture and its people and culture. Visits include the historical May Square (Plaza de Mayo) surrounded by the Government House (Pink House), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the ancient City Hall.  Continue to Congress Square, the National Parliament and the most emblematic symbol of Buenos Aires; the Obelisk and 9 of July Boulevard one of the widest avenues in the world. Next a visit to Teatro Colon, located in the heart of Buenos Aires and one of the most important opera houses in the world because of its acoustic and architectural. Tonight enjoy one of Buenos Aires’ best tango experiences the exclusive tango show at Rojo Tango.  The evening begins with a three-course dinner including top wines and champagnes from the very best wineries in Argentina. After dinner, sit back and enjoy an intimate tango show at The Cabaret Theater.  Return to hotel.  (BD)

Day 3: Buenos Aires

Today visit San Isidro, Buenos Aires’ most exclusive residential neighborhood and Tigre, the gateway to the Paraná River Delta.  Drive through the beautiful tree lined streets and impressive mansions and historical district before visiting Tigre, board a boat and sail through the canals of the delta.  The Parana River Delta is one of the largest in the world and has more than 1000 islands that are home to an abundance of wildlife.  Cruise past impressive river front homes and the private yacht club before returning to the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires.  (BL)

Day 4: Buenos Aires/Yacutinga Lodge

Transfer to airport, meeting upon arrival in at the Iguassu Falls airport, transfer to The Yacutinga Lodge located in the Iguassu Rainforest.  The Yacutinga Lodge is commited to the protection of the rainforest and all the living creatures that call it home.  The Yacuting project is a concept of creating sustainability for the environment and the local community through responsible tourism.  Tourism that focuses on conservation and education is the best way to create awareness and awareness leads to protection.  Over the next several days you will have the opportunity to experience nature in its purest form through yoga, meditation and walks to help elevate conscious while discovering the rainforest.  (BLD)

Day 5: Yacutinga Lodge

Morning yoga followed by a guided meditation in the jungle.  The sounds will allow you to feel a sense of calm, begin to focus inward to reduce stress and energize your mind and body.   After walk through the jungle as your guide explains the natural environment and the flora and fauna of this tranquil setting.  Time to relax and reflect or enjoy the facilities of the lodge before dinner.   Tonight if you’re looking for adventure head into the jungle with flashlights looking for nocturnal animals.  (BLD)

Day 6: Yacutinga Lodge 

Morning yoga and meditation.   Time to explore and discover all the jungle has to offer while walking along the many trails that surround the lodge.  After lunch set out to experience the jungle by water.  Kayak along the San Francisco stream that flows into the upper part of the Iguassu River.  A great way to relax while seeing the jungle from a different vantage point.  (BLD)

Day 7: Yacutinga Lodge/Iguassu Falls

After morning yoga and meditation you will transfer to Iguassu Falls the largest waterfall in the world regarding water volume and this UNESCO World Heritage is without question absolutely spectacular.  With over 275 separate cataracts that span over 2 miles in length and an average drop of more than 265 feet to the river below.  Cross the boarder and tour the Brazilian side of the falls, drive through Iguaçu National Park where the forest is lush and tropical on our way to the falls.  Walk an easy trail towards the falls in order to see the best panoramic view of the falls.   Return to your hotel on the Argentina side.  (B)   All US citizens MUST have a Brazil multi entrance Visa in order to enter Brazil. 

Day 8: Iguassu Falls

Today, enjoy a tour of the Argentina side of Iguassu Falls and get an up close and personal view of the falls.  Tour the upper and lower circuit of the falls aboard the jungle train; walk out on a series of catwalks to Devil’s Throat, the largest of the falls.  Feel the mist and hear the rumble of approximately 3.3 million gallons of water a second going over the falls.   Next board a motor boat and cruise along the Iguassu River and trough the Iguassu Canyon and have the opportunity to look up and this amazing force of nature.  (B)

Day 9: Iguassu Falls/Buenos Aires

At the appropriate time transfer to airport.  Meeting upon arrival in Buenos Aires, transfer from the domestic airport to the international airport.  (B)
