Tim began his career in Corporate America working for a large financial firm in Arizona. Feeling uninspired, Tim made a bold decision to quit his job and sell his home. He then gave away most of his possessions, packed a backpack and flew to South America. Tim spent the next nine months traveling throughout Central and South America. Upon his return to The United States, Tim decided to pursue a new career path in the tourism industry where he could share his experiences and enthusiasm for travel. With a little bit of luck, Tim landed a job with one the world’s largest tourism companies in New York City. Tim acted as a consultant to help develop and market Central and South American countries as tourism destination to travel companies within the United States and around the world. Tim is considered to be an expert in his field due to his extensive travel and knowledge of the destinations. He is often asked to be a keynote speaker on behalf of Latin America at many national and international tourism conventions and trade shows.
Tim is a true Escape Artist, he is an avid adventure seeker who loves the outdoors. From mountain climbing in Patagonia or trekking in Peru, to whitewater rafting in Costa Rica or sitting on top of a hill on Easter Island, wherever he is Tim is often overheard saying “the harder it is to get to, the better it will be when you’re there”. Tim has a goal of traveling to a minimum of 100 countries in his lifetime (35 down).
While traveling is a passion, Tim also has other goals, such as inventing a beer that helps people lose weight, building faster twitch muscles to help him keep up with the 20 year olds he plays hockey with and retiring on a sailboat as he sails around the world. Tim currently lives in Saratoga Springs, New York with his wife and partner in crime, Jenn, as well as their dog (Dugen) and cat (Oscar).
